A nesting family of Black Skimmers and two chicks plus one egg that hasn't hatched yet. Taken at Indian Rocks Beach behind the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Rocks, Florida. I just love how the babies blend in with the sand. The parents' switch back and forth for sitting on the nest and the babies - this is how they keep the babies safe from the sun.©Terri Mills
