Beautiful Red Shouldered Hawk sitting in an old oak tree. My husband and I were sitting at a red light and I saw this beauty glide across the street and land in this tree. I asked hubby to pull into the parking lot when the light changed and there it was .... this wonderful bird just sitting there - like he was waiting for me! While I was taking his picture he just kept talking to me the whole time! He let me take 5 or 6 shots and then off he went, isn't he absolutely gorgeous?!? Clearwater, Florida 9-20-09
